Fire Training Center
The Fire Training center located on Sundog Ranch Road, serves as the primary location for public safety training for the City’s emergency responders. The facility also hosts Yavapai College classes and is host to many regional classes such as arson seminars and community preparedness groups.
The facility is currently in need of safety and infrastructure related upgrades and a capital plan has been developed that is expected to be implemented over the next 2 to 5 years. This is intended to develop the training center into a regional asset that supports public safety agencies throughout central Yavapai County.
